Qualifications: B1ke MTB Skills Instructor; MBC UK Technical Trail Leader & Coach; MIAS MTB Instructor; British Cycling Breeze Champion. Fully insured, DRB checked and First Aid qualified.

Where my riding started: "I got into riding when my brother Laurie competed at a local downhill race. Having not ridden a bike off road since a little kid, I thought I'd ride check out the track with Laurie, out of interest more than anything. I made it down and thought that meant there was a chance I could race it the next day. Practice was wild enough, but a white knuckle race run (where I genuinely crashed over the finish line) put me into 1st place. Shocked and thrilled, I was hooked from then on."
